Updated Guidance for Auditors of Managed Investment, and Mortgage, Schemes
The AUASB has issued two new guidance statements to assist auditors of managed investment, and mortgage, schemes. They are GS 013 Special Considerations in the Audit of Compliance Plans of Managed Investment Schemes and GS014 Auditing Mortgage Schemes. These statements replace AGS 1052 and AGS 1058 respectively, and provide updated references to the Corporation Act 2001 and relevant ASIC Regulatory Guide to reflect regulatory changes since 2002.
