Chairperson of APESB Appointed to IESBA
Kate Spargo, the Chairperson of the Accounting Professional and Ethical Standards Board (APESB) has been appointed to the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) as an independent public interest member. Kate is the third Australian on the 18 member Board and her appointment is set to increase the influence that Australia has in setting international standards for the ethical and professional conduct of accountants.
